Waterproof Trailer Covers & Tarps
Spider Tarp Trailer covers and tarps are manufactured in either waterproof 230gsm PE or Spider-Mesh™ 350gsm PVC coated fabrics. Supplied in various shapes and sizes, they can be used with open and cage box trailers from 6’ x 4’ to 8’ x 5’ and larger sizes where you don’t need any cover overhang.
About our Trailer Covers
Each trailer cover has eight adjustable attachment cords with Spider-Lock™ hooks permanently fitted on each corner and midway along each edge. In addition, our larger trailer covers have an extra eight brass eyelets positioned midway between the attachment cords to provide additional securing points. If you need extra security, we recommend using 120cm Spider-Cord™ with Carabiner attachment cords which can be purchased separately or in multi-packs of 4x 60 cm, similar in length to the permanently attached cords.
Trailer Covers and Tarps For High and Uneven Loads
The adjustable attachment cords on our trailer tarps have a recommended elastic working range of up to 100cm ensuring that your high and uneven loads can be securely covered. The long working length of the attachment cords is particularly useful on cage trailers where they can either be secured to a convenient point on the cage mesh or your trailer’s tie-down bars. Spider-Lock™ hooks have a 30mm opening ensuring that they fit wide-diameter tie-down bars that are common on newer trailers.
Faster Attachment and Removal Than Any Other Trailer Cover or Cargo Net
The Spider Tarp multi-point attachment design provides countless securing options when compared to other trailer cargo nets. Spider-Lock™ hooks enable each attachment cord to be quickly located on your side rails or other convenient attachment points and adjusted to the perfect length and tension. Covering and uncovering your loads is so much easier and faster.
Unlike typical “hairnet” trailer cargo nets, each attachment cord can be lightly secured to achieve the correct cover position and then quickly tensioned without having to reposition the hooks. This creates straight pull attachment cords that replicate a rope tie down – but without the hassle of having to tie knots or use ratchets. And when it comes to uncovering your load, attachment cords can be individually and quickly removed allowing partial access to your load without losing the tension on the remainder of your trailer cover.
How Can a Trailer Cover Help Me?
Whether you are using your trailer to transport materials, tools, or camping gear, a trailer cover can help. A trailer cover protects the contents of a trailer from weather conditions such as rain, snow, and sun – the unpredictable weather of Australia. They can also help prolong the life of the contents of a trailer as well as the cover itself by reducing wear and tear caused by dust and debris. A trailer cover can be more cost-effective than alternatives as it can be less expensive than other forms of protection while providing many of the same benefits.
